Arturo Fuente Chateau Fuente Sun Grown

So here is my initial review of a cigar. I came across this in a local shop and was looking for a fuller bodied cigar and this didn't disappoint. This is not a beginners cigar by any means and would fall into the medium+ category. It comes in a beautiful cedar jacket at about 4.5in. in length but don't let it's size fool you as this is a tightly packed cigar that can hang with the big boys.

Read on to find out my tasting notes and rating!

Tasting Notes:
There is a warm nutty smell to it before you even begin. After lighting it up properly by toasting the foot to can sit back and relax as this may take some time and is not a "quick smoke" by any standard. There is a sweet, molasses taste up front followed by a toasted, syrupy tobacco with a spicy finish. The spicy finish will sneak up on you enveloping your tongue the further you go, but not scolding.

I would recommend this to an experienced smoker who is looking for an inexpensive, short stick to enjoy on cool spring evenings or in the fall.

Rating: 88
Price: ~$5
